Kevin recently teamed up with Wieden + Kennedy Portland and Director Daniel Wolfe from Somesuch to create this 30 second spot for Powerade to first air during March Madness. The period flashback scenes from the 60s were made authentic by classic art direction and wardrobe as well as shooting with 16mm lenses. Kevin’s task was to populate and extend the stadium utilizing both CG crowds and Stadium extension as well as comping live action crowd plates. After the visual effects were complete we sent the final to Framestore's Simon Bourne to get printed to 16mm film, who rescanned and graded the spot to give us the final look.
